Day 1: Airport pickup

Our company driver/guide will pick you from Kigali International air port and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/Kinigi Guest House.

Day 2&3 Gorilla Tracking

Early morning departure for the mountain gorilla tracking. After the briefing from the authorities of the park, set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. Make sure you carry with you packed lunch and water. Depending on the time you will spend while trekking you may decide to take another activity at you own cost. 

Day 4: Air port transfer

You will be transferred to Kigali international air port for your flight to Tanzania for dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 5: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Your lodge is set well along the Tarangire River crossing the park and you will have a chance to see the big number of elephant, buffalo and other game from there. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Overnight stay at the Maramboi Tented Camp

Day 6: Game drive – Ngorongoro

Descend in the Ngorongoro Crater for 6hrs  is spent game viewing in the incredible natural conservation area on the crater floor. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, you can expect to see lions, elephants, Hippos, Jackals, Zebras, antelopes and other species. Overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Serengeti

A visit to Oldvai Gorge en route to Serengeti. Olduvai is the famous archeological site where the Leakey’s discovered remains of Australopithecus, Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus bringing crucial understanding to study of evolution of the human species. Game drive through the park, arriving in time for a late lunch. Overnight stay at the Serengeti Kati kati Tented Camp or Similar

Day 8: Serengeti NP

Full day spent exploring this vast park with the wonderful Wildebeests Migration. All meals and overnight stay at the Serengeti Kati kati Tented Camp or Similar

Day 9: Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park

Leaving after breakfast you drive with picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive. This park, with its lush vegetation and tropical forest of giant fig and mahogany trees is home to elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, a variety of antelope and monkeys and a large population of hippo. Dinner and overnight stay at Kirurumu Tented Camp

Day 10: Lake Manyara - Arusha

Leave after breakfast for a short game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Drive to Arusha for your own proceedings.
