After the short rains of November and December, every New Year kicks off with the spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration in full numbers in the now-green area of South-Serengeti and Ndutu.
This is calving season, where up to 80% of female wildebeest give birth and predators are never far away.

7 Days great migration itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, Met our driver who will pick to Hotel for your Dinner and overnight at The Mount Meru Hotel or Charity Hotel
Day 2: Arusha-Ndutu Area (Serengeti)
Early in the morning drive to the world famous Serengeti national park(Ndutu Area), the setting of many nature films and even the Lion King. On the way, the cradle of mankind, where the oldest known remains of our forefathers can be found. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Lodge,Lake Masek Luxury Tented Camp or Campsite
Day 3: Ndutu Area (Serengeti)
The annual wildebeest migration will be in full swing so plan game drives with your driver guide who will best advise you where and when to go conducting game drives at your leisure using the camp or lodge
Day 4: Ndutu Area-Seronera (Serengeti)
Full day exploration of Lake Ndutu, Lake Masek and the surrounding game tracks of the Ndutu area. Late evening you will drive to Seronera (Central Serengeti) for dinner and over night at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge
Day 5: Seronera (Serengeti)
Full day game drives starting at dawn of Serengeti National Park – plan your day together with your driver guide – unlimited game drives putting you in the best locations to view wildlife away from the madding crowds.
Day 6: Seronera (Serengeti)-Ngorongoro CA
Morning game drives at your leisure – Lunch at the lodge – early afternoon leave the Central Serengeti and climbing up into the Ngorongoro highlands continuing to skirt around the crater rim to the special camp perched on the crater rim itself or drive the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serana Lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha
Drop down into the Crater floor for full day game drives with picnic lunch in the bush. There are copious amounts of large animals residing in the crater floor; elephants are mainly bulls with females staying out of the park due to the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make their home on the grassy plains offering the best chances of viewing them out in the open.
Late afternoon begin the climb out of the crater heading back to Arusha for your Airport transfer
